IOGKF Canada National Gasshuku 2022
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED
Join IOGKF Canada this November for our first all-grades national gasshuku. This three-day gasshuku will feature World Chief Instructor Sensei Tetsuji Nakamura (8th dan), Sensei Katsuya Yamashiro (8th dan, Okinawa), Sensei Torben Svendsen (7th dan, Denmark) and some of the top instructors from IOGKF Canada and IOGKF USA. This is going to be a fantastic event!

Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 (All ranks)
New Format:
Three gasshuku in one weekend
- Black Belts gasshuku (age 16 and up)
- Adults & Teens all ranks gasshuku (age 13 and up)
- Children all ranks gasshuku (ages 7 – 12, Saturday only)
All events are at the Holiday Inn, Burlington unless otherwise specified

IOGKF Canada Annual Dojo Head Meeting
Time: 4:00 pm

Note: If a dojo head cannot make it a suitable replacement should be sent in place
Black Belt Training
Time: 5:30 pm– 8:30 pm
Location: Shudokan Family Karate Centre
Note: Open to black belts age 16 and up
Also open to brown belt (1kyu) who will be grading this weekend
Social Time: 8:45 at QB Sports Bar and Grill – Appleby Line & Fairview Street
Note: There are two showers in each change room at the dojo – Bring your own towel

Do not arrive earlier as a meeting will be in progress in the dojo

Adults & teens may check-in starting at 8:45 am at Holiday Inn outside Halton Hall
Children – ages 7 – 12 may check in starting at11:30 at Holiday Inn outside Harvester Hall
Sunday morning
For anyone who still needs to check-in, come to the table outside Halton Hall 15 minutes before the start time of your training session.

Grading
If you are invited to the black belt grading, bring your grading fee, completed registration form, and photo to the event and submit them to Sensei Adrienne when you arrive.
Friday night social time
After the training, we head out for dinner and/or drinks at a local restaurant. We encourage all of you to take some time out to socialize with your fellow karateka while enjoying a delicious dinner. This year’s choice is QB Sports Bar and Grill at 4460 Fairview St. (A 5-minute drive from honbu dojo)
Dojo Heads meeting
All dojo heads please plan on attending this meeting. If you are unable to, please send a representative black belt from your dojo. If you have any agenda items for this meeting, please let Sensei Adrienne know by November 10th.
